DCUfm appoints new news director

Ciara Ní Ghabhann was appointed today (March 2, 2010) as news director of DCUfm. She replaces Steve Conlon who resigned last month.
Ciara is from Corofin, Co. Galway, and is a second year student of the Journalism degree. She is a Connacht Rugby fanatic, and has written for websites in Ireland, the UK and Australia. Ciara previously worked at Flirt FM’s NUI Galway studios on the Flirt Over Coffee and Death Before Disco programmes. She became involved in DCUfm in 2008 as a member of the news team, working on both bulletins and news programmes. Continue reading »
